Thank heaven for good partners.

Boys 7/8 Grade DH with a partner who I am paired with pretty frequently.

Wow, I was awful. Bad signals, weak whistle, passed on 1 obvious PC foul, got grumpy with myself and started looking for everything.

2nd game, I called a blocking foul as T near the table and went to administer the free throws. Partner, nicely and quietly, says "Maybe you'd like to report the foul?"

Any way, thank heavens for those many times we have good partners.

I saved my partner twice yesterday, first was when he started out of the room with his shirt on backwards.

Not sure how he pulled that off but when I noticed the patch facing me from the back I told him. He said some people would have let him go. Please don't let me have those partners.

Then in the 2nd game he was administering 2 shots, and let the sub in prior to the first shot thinking it was 1-and-1. I stopped it and put the sub back at the table, he was rather upset with himself for awhile and embarrassed by it.

Depending on how far this had progressed, I'd be inclined to let it go (and address it later).

I did it mostly based on the table yelling it's 2 shots. I can see why you'd let it go too, everyone kind of came to a standstill.

But I'm ok with letting it happen and pointing it out later as well. It's not like there were 6 or the court or some such thing.
