Using NFHS mechanics, the U1 is responsible for the home team. It makes no difference whether it's before the game or at halftime.

So, you tell me what happens at halftime.

Why are some people so preoccupied with the bench? Benches have nothing to do with pregame duties.

3-person: U1 observes home team, U2 observes visiting team, R is at division line

2-person: U1 observes home team, R observes visiting team

Nothing changes at halftime. You still observe the same team, just on the other end of the court.

This is not that difficult.
