Broadcaster made mistake during Stanford/Cal game tonight(3 point line)

During the Stanford/Cal game tonight we had another broadcater make a basic rules mistake. During a review early in the 2nd half to determine if a shot was 2 or 3 Gus Johnson stated that the 1st line at 19"9' was the womens line while the other line at 20"9' was the mens line not knowing this year that the women in NCAA play changed to a 20"9' line. Not sure why there is a 3 point line from 19"9' at Cal unless they play a lot of high school games there. What (in your opinion) shoul broadcaters need to know about rules before doing games?
