Had a game VG a couple of years ago. Visiting team tallest player was about 5'5", home team smallest was about 5'8", with several 6 footers.
Half time score was 38-0. End 3rd 52-0. Visiting coach pleaded for a running clock (GHSA blowout rule is to shorten 4th quarter to 6 minutes if a 30 point lead, no running clock) Home AD overheard this request (although we could not use a running clock) and said (to his credit) that he wanted the clock to stop to allow better opportunity for the visitors to score. Thankfully, they hit the front to end of a 1 and 1 midway through the 4th. Final score 58-4. Kudos to home team for working on their passing game in the second half.

Had another one of these tonight, in the beginning. BV Teams physically were pretty evenly matched, but visitors have a lot of depth, rotating 9 players and overwhelming many opponents with pressure/up tempo game. Score at the half was 40-12. I must admit there's a good chance I might have tightened the screws on the visitors a bit if they continued the press, which they did. But no tightening was necessary, as visitors committed one obvious foul after another.
Home team actually won the second half. Final was 70-44. I have no explanation for the difference in the two halves.

76-31 on Thursday night for me. Add that to my already growing lists of blowouts. It wasn't an easy game, either, as the visiting team started getting frustrated in the second half.
