I was a math major, though.

Had a coach bring the book to our dressing room after one game last year to make sure we understood how uneven the foul count was (like our goal is to keep it even). Told him "good game coach" and shut the door in his face. Ended up reporting him to my assignor.

Like someone else said, why don't they teach kids to adapt to the way things are called and/or coach them rather than complain? Even when I was coaching baseball I would tell the kids they didn't control officials, concentrate on what they can do, and leave the interaction with officials to the coaches.

It is always easier to complain and blame someone else rather than look in the mirror and take responsibility of your own actions.

Peace

Saturday night. Boys V game. Visiting Coach says "The fouls are 8-2, ref."

My response: "They aren't playing defense with their hands, Coach."

He called a timeout and yelled at his kids to move their feet on defense.

<strike>Anyone else considering a T here for removing the book from the table for an unsporting purpose?</strike>

Never mind.

I had an Assistant try this after a Girls-V game last season. That earned him a report to the state office the next morning, which in turn earned his HC a two game suspension. The Asst. is much more subdued this season.:p

In the video...

...one guy breaks out a bankroll to buy a fan beer. Why carry a bankroll while calling games?

Hint, hint.......

Last night's game. H playing man-to-man defense. V playing 2-1-2 zone.

Toward the end of the third quarter foul count is 6-1.

As I go by the H bench the coach mutters, "Fouls are 6-1, hint, hint."

Yah, ok.
