"And That's What Christmas Is All About, Charlie Brown" ...

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill towards men. (Luke 2:8-14)

Merry Christmas to all my Official Forum friends.

From the sands of the east coast of Florida to a little corner of Connecticut...and beyond.

To all those that wear a whistle as part of an avocation...

Merry Christmas...and a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year.

There was a comic I saw on the net that showed a group going door to door caroling. They were singing, "We wish you a merry Christmas. Here's a cup if you want to tip us."

BTW - Happy Hanukkah everyone.

While I love the Maccabeats and this is a great video, it's been criticized for a surprising mistake. In the scene in which they light the menorah, they don't use the shamash (the ninth candle in the middle which is used to light the other eight candles) but a tenth candle that is not part of the menorah. It's a pretty basic concept they get wrong.

Maybe it's the director's fault.

Blame the table. They should have sounded the horn!

PS - how many dreidels does a game need?
