Blood, few players available

Have fun with this one:

Team A has six players available, five of which are, of course, on the floor.

A-1 and A-2 collide with each other, getting blood on their jerseys. No-one is hurt badly, but it'll take considerably more than a minute to clean the blood.

Your call.

Yep, what's the fun/hard part?

Around here...the player has to get a different jersey if blood is on their original jersey.

We don't allow blood on the jersey to simply be "cleaned up" anymore.

I learned over the last Fall season, that if a kid has blood on his jersey, his own spit will clean it. Apparently, something with the enzymes in the spit break down their own blood.

It was the first time I ever heard it and who knows the truth of it, I just found it pretty fascinating.

Bainsey:

Before I tell you how I would handle this situation, I have one question: You say that Team A has players A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, and A6 available to play. Does Team A have any players on the bench who are not eligible to play because they are disqualified (five fouls, one flangrant foul) or not eligible because of a concussion.

MTD, Sr.

P.S. I do disagree with Bob.

Negative, sir. Six players in the book.
