PMs?

Is something wrong with the PM feature or am I not allowed to send them for some reason? Once again, I would PM a moderator but that isn't possible in the first place. Are certain members allowed to get others restricted from using PMs?

If you're speaking about our moderator bob, he has disabled the ability to receive PMs.

I do believe that vBulletin has had enough product refinement that it could restrict certain users from sending PMs. If that's the case with you, someone else will have to comment.

I just sent a PM a few minutes ago and received a response and did not have a problem.

If a poster is on another poster's Ignore List, PMs between those two posters are restricted.

If you were trying to send a PM to me last night, it's because I was in "time out."

We should be good now.

Now that is funny!

Did you get two minutes for High sticking? Or was it five minutes for fighting and a game misconduct?

JRutledge Thu Dec 22, 2011 02:12pm

Maybe if certain people (not mentioning any names) would stop trying to send PMs to people that do not want to talk to them, they might not have to worry about what feature they are allowed to use. ;)

Peace

Who knows. Punishment is meted out around here with not a whole lot of explanation other than "take a hint" as if we're all mind readers.

If you don't want to talk to them, don't response to their posts on the board.

JRutledge Thu Dec 22, 2011 04:06pm

Exactly!!!! ;)

+1 (without referring to any particular person or people).

You (generic) know who irritates you and who you irritate. So, if they respond to a thread and you disagree with their answer, just quote and answer the OP (or whatever it's morphed into).

That's enough on this topic.
