Longtime Official Honored

This fellow officiated some of my HS games and was one of my instructors before the gap. Everyone who played ball in Downeast Maine looked forward to games to which he was assigned.

Great tribute and well deserved. Wow! Shame he's not around to see how much he was appreciated. :(

Yeah, I realize that. But, it would have been nice to see that he is still long remembered and appreciated even many, many yrs later.

How cool is that? A DECADE long tribute to an official! Don't think it could get any better. That's what you call making a lasting impression.

I live in New Brunswick across the border from Maine and many of my fellow officials had the pleasure of working with Tony. The legendary tales span two countries. I guess he was quite a guy.

I lived in Woodland and have been to his house several times. His son was a friend of mine. Are you in St. Stephen?

He used to come to one of our pre-season practices to go over rule changes and to get in some work himself during some of our scrimmaging.
