Best finish so far this season

I'm 5 minutes from the house doing a boys 6th, 7th, 8th triple header. 4th quarter home team is down 16 with 0:48 left on the clock.

Partner whistles an OOB and plans to award the ball to the visiting team. From lead I sense something has happened at the edge of the free throw line but am straight lined. Visiting coach asks if he can come onto the floor to help a player. I said sure.

I walk out to see that B4 has purged all over his Nikes. He pops three more times before they get him to the bench.

It took probably 20 minutes to get the floor ready for play again.

You couldn't wait 0:48 more seconds and mess up the locker room huh?

Would you just call this one?
What if it was a non-VAR HS game? VAR?

That's your "BEST" finish? Blech, literally.

That's what I thought, too!!!! I was all ready to read how someone came back from 16 down with under a minute!

10 years ago, varsity boys, player pukes on the mesh ball bag (with all the balls of course) between table and team bench.

I bet there were no more "even remotely close to a 3 second call" in the lane!:D

I'd encourage both coaches to shorten the game.
