I see some of the same things take place on this site that take place here. So what difference does it make. The only difference is that folks register here and folks do not there.

I stopped by the "other" board. Some things that happen there also happen here. Many others do not. That site has far less positive and much more awful stuff. B**M*K*** is one of a number of rogue posters there that fortunately have not (yet) appeared here.

Also, that layout is awful. I like this discussion format much better.

Good grief. I hate to tell you this but there are very few on McGriff that don't know this site exists. In fact, I'd be willing to bet a game fee that Bob MyKnob resides on this board as well as McGriff. It's the same people posting over there that post here. The difference? The accountability of having to register and the existence of a moderator who will take a thread down when it turns to $hit.

Obviously I haven't spent enough time reading the ridiculous posts on the other board - I got about 15 minutes there and had enough already. If y'all like to play dress up and have your fun over there, go for it. I like this board much better.

GMcGriff.com was the granddaddy of sites for officials to learn at. There has been trouble lately from bad mouthing and porn spam and some of the old guys you find here left there. The good news is that Big Daddy Baker claims he's never comming back there since Nancy McGriff called him a bad element. Read the "you go girl" comments on the softball page. She's looking at new software but we're trying to get her to allow moderators. The best of both worlds would be for us junkies to have both sites to enjoy. Jim
