How's that for an intriguing subject line?!?

I'm working on matierial to put into a notebook for attenders at "my" camp, and I'd like to put in a page about "Talking to the Table People." What do you-all talk about? Does it depend on the level of the game? Is there stuff you deliberately don't say? I know we've covered this before, but I'd like it again, updated, and compacted into a nicely printable few pages.

In my religion class in college, I heard it referred to as "Table Talk." They told us it held a place in church history, because it was a sort of vernacular list of rules, and not used n such a formal way as a lot of the church teaching. I thought that might be a good way to think about talking to table people at a basketball game. But I guess Luther and Rennaissance German religion are not as widely taught as I had thought.

Thanks for caring, CK. My archaic sensibilities were ruffled, but are now smoothed.
