Running Clock?

Does Illinois have a running clock rule?

Had a triple overtime game in my first game tonight. Second game was a 49-1 rout.

And only if the tournament / shootout adopts the rule. Most (in my experience) don't.

And it depends what level it is:

IHSA - see Jeff's and Bob's answer
IESA - yes for all regular season contests, tournaments and the IESA state series

Keep in mind that our portion of the state is hardly under IESA rules. Most of our JH have no affiliation with any specific state or wide ranged body. So there could be a league rule that applies as well.

Peace
