Unusual play (Please help)
 
A1 dribbles to his basket, tosses the ball off the backboard, catches the ball, then dunks. Is this a legal play?

Yep...a ball that is thrown off a team's own backboard is, for the purposes of traveling or illegal dribbles, treated the same as if it were a try.
