We've had this discussion before - GIGDGO.

A basket about every 8 seconds by the starters before they were pulled.

Why schedule these games?

No chance of OT in this one Mark!

Disgusting, starting 5-6 wouldn't see a minute, there is nothing to be learned in a game like this. Minimum 10 passes per possesion, no defense beyond arc.

Please tell me they didn't press.

The thought of cancelling Pike's entire season is ridiculous.

If the coach went gung-ho and played the starters the entire game, and pressed, then I could see criticism. Otherwise, the kids were just playing a game. There's no sense in punishing anyone for that.

Just keep playing.

What about the guys on the losing team. Did they run the clock, or make a suggestion to do so?

That's what I was thinking - do they not have any kind of mercy rule to use? Most HS/sub-varsity do. Maybe they should look into that.

Don't blame the winning coach as it sounds like he did what he could (yanked starters after 2 minutes, no press, told the kids not to play D, etc.). Crazy that they'd have their season cancelled because of this.
