Part II Test
How much harder is the Part II test than the Part 1?
I've got to get an 84% to pass and be promoted. Does anyone have a copy of an old one somewhere? |
When I took it way back when, I found it to be the same.
|
I don't think there is much of a difference. If you belong to an association, they may have some old ones for you to review.
|
With the new format, it's probably about the same.
I would suggest reviewing old Part I exams (multiple choice format). |
Do you realize there is a difference between the Part 2 Exam you took and the IHSA Part 2 Exam right? I might have a copy of an old IHSA Part 2 Exam or I can get one that is from last year, the only year the IHSA made their own tests.

I've always been perplexed by my students who want to know what score they need on an exam to pass a course (or get an A, or whatever). Can they calibrate their studying so precisely as to earn exactly (or even approximately) that score? |

Send me a private message with your email. I have two of the the last three years as word docs, and I don't see any harm in sending them to you.

The Part 1 is used as either a practice exam or an open book exam by many states. The Part 2 exam is a closed book exam in most states that use it and isn't supposed to be used until a specific date, so that it isn't released countrywide prior to the national exam date. Now that the NFHS has gone to online exams, I'm not sure how much of this is still true. But the Part 2 exam is no harder than Part 1. It was just a way to designate it for closed book use. |
