What are some of your tricks/sayings for coaches and players in different circumstances???
If no technical foul is involved, let them have the last word.
If a coach has asked for you to watch a certain player, and will ask again, it helps to have known how the referenced player played between queries. So... know something about that player's action(s). The coach will be impressed that you could vividly cite an example. |
Why do you need tricks? Just be honest, explain what you saw, and get back to the game.
Always listen to Bob.
Be yourself and figure out what works for you. What works for one person does not work for another person based on personality, experience or delivery. There is no magic formula to deal with coaches.
