First official juco game in some time next week.

What jacket are collegiate officials wearing now? Plain black, CCA striped???

CCA black w/ the white stripes on/near the shoulders and cuffs.

So the CCA with the logo is it.

I thought I saw that referenced as "old" a few times but I must be mistaken.

The "old" jacket just had the CCA logo on a complete black jacket (no white stripes).

Just a heads up. Heard from 2 of my college assigners that they may be changing jackets again next year?:eek:

I have heard that every single year this jacket has been out. I will not believe it until I actually see it.

At our NCAA rules clinic this past Sunday our assigner stated that they may be doing away with jackets completely!

What!!! I just bought a new one! As much as I think they are worthless inside and now we cannot go into the locker room prior to the game start, I'd like to get my moneys' worth!:eek:

I have heard it the past two years... nothing yet.

What does this mean?

At least one official is required on the court. So 2 can go back and take the 3rd's jacket or 1 can go back and take the other 2's jackets.

Officials and Their Duties. 2-4.2. At least one official must remain on the floor once jurisdiction begins.

Rule 2-4 Art. 2. For men, at least one official shall arrive on the floor 30 minutes before the start of the game. At least one official must remain on the floor once jurisdiction begins.
