Says who? Association meetings usually are open only to members and invited guests.

Speak for yourself and your area. Most of the associations around here or ones that I have been a member of, have open meetings. Anyone that is a member can attend. They are not going to card you at the door. I am sure there are many that have "closed" meetings and others that do not.

Peace

I dunno, maybe I'm missing something here. How can a "members only" meeting be an "open" meeting?

Anyone can attend.

Most of the associations I belong to do not have "members only meetings." If you are talking about general "basketball meetings" anyone can attend. Paying the dues gets you into the literature or certain equiptment provided by the association or able to serve as a board member, but basic meetings are not at all closed. There are guys that attend that are not members all the time. Maybe those restrictions apply to Z's association, but that is not the case I am sure with everyone. I would bet that my associations are not that different than others around the country.

Peace

OK, you changed your story. I can live with that.

So your meetings are open to members & non-members.

I guess.

I belong to 5 different associations (spread out between 3 sports). Only one of my associations is restrictive of their meetings and who can attend. And the 2 I belonged to before I moved north, had no restriction as to who attended. I do not see how that is changing the story.

Oh well.

Peace

Sadly, I believe you don't. Go back & read what you said, pay particular attention to "Anyone that is a member can attend".

Looks like my stop, I'm gettin' off now.

I guess again.

Any member and I should have added, any non-member. That is not changing anything. Maybe I could have been clearer, but that is not changing my story.

Issues dawg, you got issues.

Peace
