Do you belive that official should be good and good POLITICIAN on the court?

i know many refrees that were good but had no freinds in the political side and that's why they always stay im the same level.
for exampel at FIBA..in fiba it is know to everyone that without politician freinds you'r situation is not good at all..
i want to know if this situation is all our the world..you know i'm also talking of getting the best games and things like that..

I assume you mean politician?
 

I do not care what you are doing, if you want to get ahead in this life you better have some people that support you that are higher up. Maybe you gained those friends by just being good at what you do, or you did it by helping them out. But either way it goes, if you do not have friends that can give a recommendation or shed light on your ability, you will not advance. Merit is overrated.

maybe in this world to be politician it's a good thing.

I think people miss understand what that means. Most people think that being a politician is shaking hands, kissing babies (or a$$ in most cases). I do not think that is what it is. Being a good politician could just be doing what is expected of you and nothing more. If you work your a$$ off and work at your craft, someone is going to notice. If you go to meetings when they have them. If you just sometimes show your face at camps or other things that assignors have or your association has, you are more likely to be known then the individuals that stays at home with his wife, but complains he cannot get a game. Lawyers and Doctors do not just play golf for the love of the game. Many actual decisions are made on the golf course well before they are made in the meeting room.

There is other kinde of politician"official"..
this official will never call 5 times in a road against the same team...or when the game is ended (whem he had a very good game)he will walk slowly to the tabel to say hello to every one...
the same refree at his next game when one of the coaches will come to him and tell him :"don't ask me what you'r patrner doen to me in the last game"?..this refree will ask..
