Longtime Denison (Texas) High School boys basketball coach Earl Carson has resigned after promising his players he would give them a dollar each time they took a charge.
http://espn.go.com/moresports/news/2...5/1529164.html IMO, what he did is nothing compared to all the shenanigans that take place in amateur athletics. He didn't pay them for hard fouls. It's for playing good defense. Did he do wrong? Yes. But I'd have to call this one a "ticky-tack".
