Looking around online, I have seen two books that piqued my interest. They appear to be published by Referee magazine. One is called "Working the Lead: Two-person Mechanics for the Lead Official", the other is "Working the Trail..."

Has anyone read either of these? Are they worth the $12?

Sorry, Bits. Never seen either of them. Can't help you.

They're from the same people that publish the Officials Guidebook which I find to be very helpful and quality. I'd say they are both worth the $24 risk.

I'm a big advocate of all their publications. The Officials Guidebook is excellent. Definitely worth the money.

I have both books and there are definately a good tool in your first cou0ple of years of HS ball. I reccomend all referee pulbications. I have used them for BB/SB, FB and BB and they have provided a good learning/review tool.
