Well Done, Tony.
May come to see you and watch (VERY QUIETLY) from the stands.

Congrats, good luck, and Hoo-ah.

Great job, Tony. Don't forget - you can call all the over-the-backs and reaches you want, but as long as you have court presence, you'll get plum assignments like this. ;)

BktBallRef Sun Mar 02, 2003 03:06pm

Thanks gentlemen. I've got a real stupid looking grin on my face that just won't go away! :D

Nevadaref Mon Mar 03, 2003 06:43am

Good Luck, Tony.
And let's hope that a teammate doesn't touch the ball while it is in the thrower's hands during that game!

Can a Duke fan (I know, they choked yesterday) add his congratulations? If I still lived in Fayetteville, I would come watch you work. Have a great game!

BktBallRef Mon Mar 03, 2003 10:59pm

dblref, come on down! It'll be in Raleigh or Chapel Hill. It's not that far, is it? :)

I've never seen him on the court, but here in this forum, I
mean this sincerely, Tony really does have presence.

Way to go Tony!!! When is the game?? You will, of course. do a post-game follow-up for all of us who have no chance of making it to the game, right?? Let us know how it goes!!

BktBallRef Wed Mar 05, 2003 01:17am

Thanks dj. The game is Saturday, the 15th. Won't know which class we're getting until next Monday but either 3A or 4A is looking real good!

Yes, I will keep a complete diary of the day's events, for those of you who are too cheap to spend the $900 for the plane ticket! :D

CongratsTony!

Sorry for my slightly delayed response.... nonetheless, I am happy for you and not suprised that you were awarded "the game."

Go get em!

Great accomplishment

You have accomplished something that many of us will only dream about and only a few of us will experience. Treat is like any other game (even thought it is not) and have fun. This is why we do this to begin with. http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/bigwave.gif

Peace
