Unhappy

This is part of a broadcast message I just received. It reminds me that when you get right down to it the smart replies to coaches, bad calls, poor partners, coachÂ’s *****ing, and bad people skills are not very important. Nick was one of 3 high school students who took the applicant class this year. As I understand it, he passed both the IAABO and VHSL test but as he is still in high school he could not do scholastic games.

So, if you pray please say one for Nick.

Sad News -
I have recently received some sad news regarding one of our newest members, Nick Boles. Nick is a high school student attending Madison High School and is completing his applicant season with CBOA. Unfortunately, last week, he had a sinus infection that worked its way to his brain. His mother informed me that he has had three major operations in the last five days to try and correct the problems. Although he is doing better, he still does not have use of the entire left side of his body. If you are interested in sending any wishes to him or his family, here is his address:

(SNIPPED ADDRESS)

Please put Nick and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you.

Chris Vail
Recreation Commissioner - CBOA

(CBOA is Cardinal Basketball Officials Association. Located in Northern Virginia
