How do officials who have worked games with a consitant partner tell them that they are going to be working with other official(s) in the future??

Whatever your reasons are, be truthful with your previous partner. You will feel better about yourself for handleing it this way.

If it's a mechanics problem or a game management problem, maybe you can work something out with your partner. If it's a personality problem, be honest with him and move on.
