I saw this one a while ago and was wondering what you'll would call it as. B1 is imbounding under its basket. A2 and B2 are in A's front court, as A1 has the ball and the official is counting the throw in, A2 starts to go after B2 to foul him (the last minute foul to stop the clock business, which almost never get called intentional). B2, who is a very bad FT shooting, does not want get fouled, so he runs out of bounds and happens to fall as A2 is in "pursuit" (I am almost positive that there was at least some contact). Before the ball is actually imbounded, the Trail (soon to be lead) blows whistle and calls a foul. Is this an Intentional T or just a Personal? In this case, what makes the ball live, the fact that it is at the disposal of B1, or is it dead since the clock is not running.

Would this fit as a justifiable T on A2 for running out of bounds to gain an advantage?

Other than that, it's a personal foul, since the ball is live while the thrower is looking for someone to pass it to. If the ref is counting the throw in, it's a live ball.

B2 ran out of bounds to avoid being fouled. A2 never went OOB.

Wait a second? Why would A2 be trying to foul B2 when A has the ball for a throw in?

Sorry. I knew something was wrong. I have since corrected it.
