WHILE THE BALL IS INSIDE THE IMAGINARY CYLINDER, A DEFENSIVE PLAYER SLAPS THE BACKBOARD HARD, I BELIEVE THIS IS A "T" BUT IS IT ALSO BASKET INTERFERENCE?

1)You can't call BI unless a player actually touches the ball or the basket.
2)"Hard" has nothing to do with calling a T on this play.The slap has to be "Intentional" before a T can be called.
3)Please don't yell(ALL CAPS).

One additional thing: you can, and should, call BI when the ball in on the ring and a player touches the net.
