A1 is dribbling up the court and picks up dribble with left foot in BC and right foot in FC. The last dribble was in BC and no pivot on either feet. A1 passes to A2 who is in BC.

The ball is not in front court until both feet and the ball touch in front court.

The three points (ball and both feet) would apply since A1 was a dribbler. Now, since A1 has picked up the dribble if he were to pick up the foot in the backcourt (making the frontcourt foot the pivot foot) and return it to the floor in the backcourt, I think I would have a violation then...so far, so good.

No, unless it is a bounce pass with the bounce in the front court. Or if the ball grazes the shirt of A3, who is in the frontcourt. Or if the ball hits an official who is in the frontcourt.

What if they had pivot on the left foot in BC and then stepped over into FC with right foot several times as they pivoted? My call would be no call. right or wrong?

As was stated earlier in the thread, it would not matter if the left foot crossed into the FC or not. Once they establish the foot that is in the FC (in this case the right foot) as their pivot then the player has FC position. They could simply lift the left foot and return it to the floor in the BC and it would still be a violation.
