I am T, partner is L.
A1 throws up a shot, hits the rim, rebound grabbed by A2. A2 pivots to put up another shot, but B1 gets a hold of the ball. A2/B1 struggle for a bit, then P calls a jump. AP favours Team A. I see the shot clock is at 28 when P blows his whistle, but clock operator resets. I call for a correction, but P says reset. Reset or not? |

2-13-7 : Stop timing device...without reset under the following circumstances:
d. During team control..., a defensive player causes a held ball and the alternating-possession arrow favors the offensive team.

Thanks, guys....my P bet a steak dinner on it.
Pass the mushrooms. |
High school- reset- correct?
|
Don't think there's a reset here regardless...as shooting team got the rebound, had control for :02 and THEN got tied up by the defense.

I believe that HS girls use a reset here - not sure about NCAA women. I saw it done in a HS game this week (was this at Churchill?!) NCAA men it is no reset.

HS boys and girls in Massachusetts, no reset. Why would there be a rest in any other state, and for girls only? |
