NCAA-imprinted Fox 40 Classic Whistle

Friends in the States. I'm a ref from Shanghai, China. And I'm very intereted in getting a NCAA-imprinted Fox 40 Classic whistle (not CMG) - see pix below. Anyone who could help me get one please? Please send me a private message. Very much appreciated! :)

I thought those were given to the officials that worked the tournament, but if anyone has the plug on these, I'd like one too! Put me on the PM list.

I've got some. But the NCAA stands for National Canadian Athletic Association.

Still want one? :)

It could stand for "Newbies Can't Ask Anymore" for all they care.

You are so bad. :D

I watched "The Ron James Show" on CBC last night. Very good. And of course my all time favorite show is "The Red Green Show" which I can watch on the PBS station in Bowling Green, Ohio, on the weekends.

Nice. Red Green is a staple up here.

Ever seen the Rick Mercer Report?

From time to time. One has to search for a CBC schedule of the TV station in Windsor.

Unfortunately, I don't get any Canadian channels on my cable. I do get BBC America, however. Law & Order:UK is jolly good.

Bloody well out to be.

I haven't watched British TV since "The Young Ones," "Benny Hill" and "Are You Being Served" went off the air. :(

BillyMac Mon Jul 18, 2011 07:26pm

"Yes! It's The Benny Hill Show!" ...

Still going strong on the Antenna TV Digital Cable Network. It's scheduled on the weekends with the Three Stooges.

Makes sense. Windsor is actually very American, too. Of everyone I know from Windsor, they are all fans of Detroit teams, know the US TV schedule very well, and shop a lot in the US.

How odd for that to occur on this forum. :D

Heck, any thread that mentions Latin, Red Green, and Benny Hill keeps my interest regardless! :)

Antenna TV also has the old "George Burns and Gracie Allen" show M-F afternoons at 12:00 and 12:30. Easily the most brilliant early TV sitcom. For those of you who aren't familiar with this channel, it's a cable channel for Boomers.

Nice! Our antenna TV currently has episodes of "My Three Sons" and "Gidget". That's from back when I used to get up and walk across the room to change the television channel.

BTW, anybody remember what this thread was about? :D

It's good to live near the border. I watched Peter Mansbridge (CBC's main anchor, for my fellow Americans) for the first time in months last night. I find it interesting that a national hour newscast at 10 PM ET has worked well in Canada for years, but we're accustomed to half-hour broadcasts at 6:30 PM ET, leaving mostly dramas at 10 PM.

There are also newscasts at 6:00 and 6:30 here. They may or may not be as in depth as the 10pm or 11pm news, but they are sufficient.

I prefer Lloyd Robertson myself. And even then, I prefer Lisa LaFlamme. :)

The 10pm time slot in my house is for Storage Wars. Man, do I ever dislike Hester. lol
