Watching a Big East game on ESPN Classic the other day. From 1990 Providence versus UConn. Lot of action on and around the baseline in UConn's frontcourt. Finally Providence player secures the ball, dribbles parallel to the baseline under the basket. Suddenly from the old trail, (new lead after possession change), John Clougherty, comes sprinting in with Tweet, tweet, tweet touches baseline and determines Providence dribbler stepped on the baseline. Right in front of official on the baseline, he was the most surprised! Unbelievable. Anyone else see this?
I have never seen this and probably never will again.
