I got lamblasted by a coach AFTRE the game while departing the floor. Some of the craziest off the wall wording, threats (non-physical)and accusations. He did question integrity and maturity, not skills or court demeaner right in front of his kids. What do? We had a good game. No in play issues. Just a weird little man looking for an excuse! |

Seriously, not much you can do when it happens. Afterward, tho, make sure you file a written report with your assignor. Tell him what happened and what the coach said. Include as many exact quotes as possible; don't change the F-bombs to "freaking". Make sure you report the threats, especially. Chuck

State, not the assignor.
If this was a HS game, report this to your State not the assignor. You might give a copy to the assignor, but the State needs to hear about this first. You area might be different, but in my experience, assignors do not have much power here. This is something for your State Athletic Association to me made aware of.
Peace
