New Foul Categories NCAA
 

Just returned from a camp in Dallas, and they mentioned how that the NCAA would be going to a "flagrant 1" and "flagrant 2" category to classify non-basketball action.

Someone at my table smirked that it didn't surprise him since John Adams was brought up in the NBA school of thinking.

Anyone else heard of this yet?

And I'd tell those that just because the NBA does something doesn't mean it's a bad thing for the NCAA to adopt.

In fact, it makes a LOT more sense than to label a foul "Intentional Foul" when it doesn't depend on intent (excessive contact).

IKR! I was at a camp over the weekend & one particular clinician was so anti-NBA (even though there were a couple NBA guys there):rolleyes: Makes you wonder what happened during these guys journey!

Did you not get picked up by the league?
Was an opportunity taken away from you?
Did an NBA guy smash your chick?


I mean, whats really going on??
