Here is the sitch:

A1 releases ball before horn sounds. B1 fouls A1 while coming down but foul came after horn. B2 goaltends ball after horn also. What happens? I think I know but interesting how some violations after the horn are administered and some or not.

Here we go....

Count the basket as the ball doesn't become dead until the try or tap has ended. So the goaltending violation by team B is called. Clear the lane and shoot one free throw for the foul by B1 on A1. Rule reference 6-7 exception. These are the situations that make you really know the rules. When they happen in a game, you know just what to do.

The basket is good. If the foul occurs before the shooter returns to the floor,(airborne shooter) shoot 1 free throw with the lane cleared unless this was the end of the game and this free throw would have no bearing on the outcome.
Otherwise this foul after the horn should be ignored unless the contact is ruled intentional or flagrant.

What violations after the horn are administered? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

The violation would be Goaltending.
