I love running clocks in the off season. B is down by 4 points with under 4 minutes in the game. B1 is blocked out on a shot at B's basket, pushes A1 completely out of the key to get the rebound, and puts it back in. Coach B thinks he has cut the lead to 2, but I wave off the basket and call the obvious foul on B1.
We go to shoot 1 and 1 at other end and coach B is chirping. About 3.5 minutes now and Coach B is still chirping about the call as we are lining up for the FT. I walked slowly toward B's bench. As I pass the table, I yell loud enough for everyone to hear, "Keep the clock running." Once to the coach, I calmly said "What do you want to talk about coach?" Coach B looked at the clock and quietly said: "Play" I love running clocks. |

Let the punishment fit the crime. We go to shoot 1 and 1 at other end and coach B is chirping. About 3.5 minutes now and Coach B is still chirping about the call as we are lining up for the FT.
