Is This Microphone Working ???

I know that it's the off season, but activity on a few other basketball officials forums, besides this one, has been non-existent.

Last post on the NFHS Basketball Forum was March 22, 2011.

Last post on the Basketballrefs.com Forum was on April 1, 2011.

Basketball Officiating Forum - Basketballrefs.com

I know that things will eventually pick up on the NFHS Basketball Forum.

Is the Basketballrefs.com Forum still viable?

That's why this is the only forum I have bookmarked. :)

Great title. For us "veteran" officials. Do you realize that 95% of the Forum membership probably has no idea what you are referencing in your title?

Actually, it was one of mine (and one of someone else's) on March 26th. Funny thing - that forum shows those topics as "on fire".

Which only means a thread has 5+ replies.

So if five people in the entire world reply, that is supposed to indicate a "hot" topic, even if no one has replied in almost a month? I think that's pushing it a little.

Not knocking your statement, APG, just their policy.

Different forums have different criteria. On this forum, 15 replies or 150 views is considered a "hot" thread. On another forum I frequent, a "hot" thread means 30 replies or 500 views.

And at games, one view of certain moms designates them as "hot". ;)

So I guess Holden Caulfield quotes, though apropo to any particular basketball situation, would also be out of the question, eh?
I wouldn't want to come across as a phoney.
