Where I work 3 man NCAA we usually "lock-down" under 30 secs to play in period w/ shot clock off.

We have been told to never lock down in a men's game (but we do in a women's). Keep moving until the buzzer goes off.

I didn't see the play, but my guess is that he was closed down, but didn't get over because the ball didn't settle if he was driving to the hoop. He probably didn't want to get stuck under the basket.

Yeah all of the NCAA I work now is Womens so they have us lock down. It is amazing in the world of slow motion and 30 different camera angles they didn't find some way to make it look like their was a foul. I guess there are still some media members out there that have faith in what we do....

Either that or they couldn't find a foul either...and didn't want us to look too good ;)
