Thanks for that read Scrappy! It certainly brought a tear to my eye.

I can't believe that was five years ago and I was completing my first season as a scorekeeper with my school's varsity boys (as a high school senior).

This article needs to be in every coaches manual and AD's office in the country as a good reminder of why we are in the profession.It certainly will go into my notebook next year!

To the cadets interviewed for this story and all our men and women in uniform:Thank You for your service and sacrifice to this country!
