Fantastic clip!

Except that after the winning basket, there should still be 0.3s left on the clock. That's enough for a catch and shoot! If the losing team had a TO at the table, they'd get a front-court throw-in, too.

Is there video review available at that level? I think that'd be the only way to catch that.

Way too tame for Gus Johnson.

I stopped the video and looked at the clock while the ball was just passing through the net and it seemed like only 0.2 seconds would be left. I watched it three different times and got the same number.

BTW - they should really wipe those big smudges off the ball. Oh yeah - I didn't know Dick Vitale spoke Spanish.

It was the play by play guy, not the color comentator. So, it had to be Marv Albert!

Can you catch and shoot with .3 in FIBA or are you just kidding all around?

FIBA Rules Book (2010)

16.2.5
The game clock must indicate 0:00.3 (three tenths of a second) or more for a player to gain control of the ball on a throw-in or on a rebound after the last or only free throw in order to attempt a shot for a field goal. If the game clock indicates 0:00.2 or 0:00.1 the only type of a valid field goal made is by tapping or directly dunking the ball.

The rule is the same in the NBA. For college and NFHS, the time period is .4.
