Not only were there people that said it was an "automatic" T, but there were others that made is sound like that was the only option.
But when I say there could be an exception or another way to handle it, then that cannot be even discussed. But we can talk about a situation that is very much explicit in the rulebook, but people find "exceptions" to applying the rule as written. It comes down to that we make decisions for all kinds of reasons whether these are for the right or wrong reasons. Not much different than what a political candidate says on the campaign trail, then when put in the actual situation in office they are more deliberate in what they ultimately do.
