First let me say that the subject of this thread should be read as HEAVY sarcasm!!!
Worked a Div. II tournament last weekend...just got a call from my supervisor telling me that one of the visiting teams - who I reffed both Friday and Saturday nights - has had to cancel their roadtrip this week due to 9 of the 12 players suffering from infectious gastroenteritis!! The team doctor is having anyone who came in contact with them contacted and warned to be on the look-out for symptoms...
Had no clue what it was, so did a search on the net... does not sound like much fun...doctor said we should be ok if no symptoms have shown up by Friday evening...so far, so good...two more days to go...ain't reffing fun!!!
