P.S. As an older, "journeyman", official, I don't usually get many post season assignments. The best I can usually hope for is an early round high school league, or conference, playoff assignment. However, I just received a Catholic middle school assignment, and it's a state tournament assignment. It's probably not a big deal for most of you guys out there, but I'm psyched. Two Catholic middle school state tournament games on Saturday afternoon. I can't wait. I thought my season was done. I guess it was worth telling all those little kids that their headbands had to all be the same color, and that they couldn't wear a white undershirt underneath a blue jersey.
