OT - 2nd HS Athlete Dies
 

A second HS athlete (this time a Rugby player) dies after a game.
Teen athlete, Matthew Hammerdorfer, dies after rugby match; 2nd high school athlete death in 3 days
Both from enlarged hearts.
This is past sad...

4 or 5 years ago, my kids ran cross country. A local hospital held a free clinic to check for enlarged hearts and other heart ailments for local high school athletes. The team went down together. As far as I know, this was a one time deal, but it should happen more often.
