OT - I'm gonna get a good laugh out of this one
Tomorrow morning, I have a 5th grade boys rec game working with a HS senior who's a trainee in our local kids rec league. Before the game, I'm going to tell him that a game I had earlier this week had a scorekeeper who was a "really hot babe." Then I'll tell him, "Oh wait. It was your mom. Sorry." It actually was his mom who was working the book at his younger brother's game. He wasn't at the game because, according to his mom, he was studying for his SATs.
I'm pretty sure he'll get a kick out of my comment. BTW - he does a really good job. Hope he does well on his SATs, too. |
Are you going to help him work on those Swiftly Awarded Technicals (SATs) ?

BTW, NoFuss, why don't you come up to Tigard tomorrow and watch the game? :) |
Outstanding T. Tell him kudos!
I have a 8th grade girls Quad-A make up game between Oakland and North Eugene tonight at 7pm. Then full boat of Kidsports Rec ball this weekend. 7th and 8th grade boys Quad-A, then a pair of (KS) HS Boys. Otherwise I would love to come up. It sounds like the league you have been working up there is pretty competitive even in the younger ages. I've been doing some games for a league put together by former U-of-O Duck's player Kenya Wilkens, sounds comparable. His 5th grade kids could most likely put a whooping on some of the Frosh teams. Good times, fun to work. |

Did you go through with this ploy? |
