Flipping off your teammate
High school girls, regular season.
A1 is a player. A6 is on the bench. A6 makes a snide, chiding remark to A1. A1 responds with flipping off A6. Whack or ignore? |
Whack.

situational
I would have to let the situation dictate...from across the court, most likely whack....running up the sideline right at the bench...hmmmm not so cut and dried...would probably lean toward a conversation about salvation.....(a come to jesus meeting)

If I see it, I'm Ting it.

T. Like when a kid drops an f bomb really load and I T him. They say it wasnt directed towards us; it doesnt matter.

Is essentially declaring a winner of a cat fight a smart thing to do?

It would depend. My first thought would be to treat it like a UFO: I saw something but I am not quite sure what it was.

what about this scenario:
i was doing a high school game, and the home team was behind by about 30 and playing like crapola. their center knew it. after yet another opponents basket, he turned around, hands at his side, and said,"c'mon guys, play harder...i mean, f**K"... not loud enough for hardly anybody to hear, (I didn't, i was transitioning to new lead in two man), but my partner did...whacked him. if i'm the trail, i probably let it go, and talk to the kid as we head down the court... thoughts? |
