who cares???? the same guys who care if you wear a lanyard or not...or are those rules it is ok to ignore?

The question specifically refers to these school uniforms not complying with specific rules guidelines, where, in the past there have been severe penalties or refs have chosen to look the other way - hence a discussion has ensued. What does that have to do with lanyards and referee dress codes, probably established locally? |

Does it really matter whether we care?

what makes the uniform illegal? Is it that the school name is above and below the number?

I'm thinking "who cares?" is not the proper answer an official should give if asked by an observer at the game. |

Gotcha. You made it sound like WI referees didn't care about or are supposed to ignore the uniform rule.

And in VA a black lanyard or "smitty" is listed as part of the official uniform for the state tournament. Now, I have no idea what effect on an official's state tourney career not having a lanyard would have. |
No, This Is Better, Much Better ...

Oh please please please define.."properly " for me!!! how many times have you had the opportunity to tell me in person and never did?? I dont believe rolled up sleves are the proper way to wear warmup jackets either......:)

If rolling up your sleeves accents the belt you are wearing... :D Besides, the sleeves get in the way when you are shooting baskets during intermissions. :D |
