Are you allowed to cancel your order and do a do-over for what they do have? Let me know, because I guess I'll be thinking twice about purchasing from them.

My credit card was charged even though the items went back-ordered. Ms. Parsons told me that she would not pay shipping on two items and that I would have to wait until the other BO item came-in. I told her since she had already billed my credit card she should mail the item on hand. She became rude and told me she would mail the one item and cancel the other and credit my credit card (then hung-up on me). Now after reading some of the replies it sounds like I'm going to have a headache getting them to credit my credit card account.

This is in violation of their Visa/Mastercard merchant agreement. Items that are charged have to be shipped within the next business day, otherwise they are not allowed to finalize the charge.

I'd ask for a refund. If she refuses, instruct your credit card bank to issue a chargeback.

You can also ask your bank for a visa complaint form. It really grabs the attention of the merchant when thier bank threatens to pul their service.

Is it that difficult to find stuff?

There are several other outlets to order from. If you do not like +POS, there are several other companies to get stuff from. Basketball is not like Football or Baseball. You can find the same pants from many outlets. Sansabelt makes the best pants in my opinion. Fox 40 Whistles of many styles are the best and most used. Socks you can get from through the mail or at your local Wal-Mart. You can find the same shoe from different outlets or special order them from the company themselves. Shirts you can also get from many places, even the NF. Gerry Davis, Honigs, Official Choice Inc., Official's Purchace Supplies and GetOfficial.com. Basketball equiptment is not that complicated. Find what you need and order from them. I have heard bad things from almost all of them. It is called business.

Peace

I agree. I have stopped ordering from +POS many years ago. The service was terrible and some of the products did not last. I suggest not using them at all!

Cheers...

I don't know why she couldn't just extend you this offer (minus the attitude) in the first place. Now, she's lost you as a customer and me too. +POS was my first online purchase for equipment, so I was anxious about it being a good experience. But after all of the negative posts here, I think I'll stick with the local guys. I was going to order some pants from them, but I wanted to be able to try them on. So, I went to a guy in our association and paid more for them. I want a back up pair, but I don't think I'm going to +POS for them.

I have delt w/ them and have had the same problems. i ordered a pair of shoes and it took me over 2 months to get them, when they were supposed to be next day air (which i paid for!!) THey told me my pants could be shipped seperately if i paid shipping for BOTH items!! And i agree, the owner is very rude and arrogent. I have ordered through them about 4 times and have had MAJOR problems all of them. I did this becasue i had gift certificates from basketball camp and the first time i wanted the shoes.
Go through Gerry Davis. they are next day mail and are fantastic!!

I had almost the same experience as davdog69. Never did get my stuff or a resolution but they sure did charge my credit card. Finally had to get the credit card company to drop the charges.
