Mike Stuart

Is Mike Stuart injured? He hasn't officiated since 02/02. I would suspect he won't be in the tournament this year. I think he is a great official and would have been a consideration for the Championship game.

(As it stands now, I have Jamie Luckie, Les Jones and Pat Driscoll in the Championship Game)

Jeremy Hohn Mon Feb 28, 2011 06:52pm

Tom O'neill, Jim Burr and Tim Higgins are my 3.

Man, this thread gets earlier and earlier every yr! It ain't even March yet?

Anyone start their 2012 taxes yet? What shoes are you wearing next season? Where can I get the best luggage? What rule changes would you make? How bout that Fox 40? :p

youngref33 Mon Feb 28, 2011 08:31pm

I would like to see Mike Kitts, Brian Dorsey and Mike Eades

Jurassic Referee Mon Feb 28, 2011 09:10pm

The only definitive way is to have a poll and send the 3 winners' names to John Adams.

Lah me.......

Victor74 Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:32pm

I didn't start the thread primarily for picking the three Championship referees. I just threw that in there. My primary reason was the title of the thread. Does anyone know what has happened to Mike Stuart?

It might be your pick, but not going to happen in this current situation.

Peace

O'Neill is the only one that has a chance with Adams pulling the strings. Burr and Higgins have a hard time keeping up running up and down the floor these days.

I saw Barney Rubble (Higgins) Saturday and he stayed in the Centre position all game. Looked like he couldn't run at all. It was midway through the first half when I tuned in. I don't if he went in to the game hurt or if something happened early in the game.

Brian Kersey instead of Dorsey.

O'Neill had really cut back (or has had his game cut back) from the past two years...maybe to show Adams that he is still fresh.

Kersey does a nice job as well.

Les Jones?

That's all I have to say about that.

I do not believe Burr and Higgins have gone no further than one game in the tournament the last couple of years. Doubt that is going to change anytime soon.

Peace

cmathews Tue Mar 01, 2011 01:59pm

hmmm my three

the three I would like to see are any two and Chad Mathews, I think he does an excellent job....he also cut way back on games this year to have his knees replaced, so he is fresh with new knees.....hmmmmmm ;) :D

He went into the locker room in the middle of the first half and they did 2-man for a while. He came back out and sat at C the rest of the game. Anncrs. said he pulled a hamstring and went to get treatment from one of the training staff. If that's the case, he might be done for the season...Hammy's don't heal quick (especially at that age).

Stalker Alert?

What's the big fascination with Mr. Stuart's health?

There's really nothing on the web (that I found - granted, I didn't spend that long looking), that alludes to why he has stopped officiating.

If you are that curious, go to the web and research it. Hire an investigator. Hunt him down! Call and/or email CBS Sports. Call ESPN! Go to his home of record. Invest money in SPOKEO and call em all (nah, don't do that).

There's much better ways to find out than this Forum......

(let the bashing begin.....)
