A mixed bag of fan complaints and level-headed thoughts (some) are here.

Three pages of comments (and counting), and in the OP the guy admits he hasn't seen a game....

Nice, someone ought to respond with, "I don't actually know you, but you're an idiot."

Bad Zebra Thu Feb 24, 2011 12:25pm

Pure, unadulterated ignorance from top to bottom in that forum. Typical fanboy nonsense.

I especially liked the fan comment "I don't have to take a test to know a travel or a foul when I see one" when responding to another comment that nobody on that forum could ever pass a rules exam.

Why would you even post that link here?

+1.....and I didn't even waste my time clicking on it. Who gives a damn about fan complaints?

Some of it was quite funny JR. This was one of my favs:

I do notice that what is seen by refs as an offensive foul in high school is often called a block by college refs.

These same guys would be saying the same thing if they learned a Final Four official was working their games or if an NBA Finals official was too.

While watching a particularly bad JV game and listening to the incredibly stupid parents and fans, I allowed myself a minute to fantasize how the game would be officiated and how the parents would react if it was Hightower, Burr, and Higgins out there.

Love it. There especially seems to be a total inconsistency in the restricted area. Stupid refs.

I could Google "high school basketball blogs" and find 50 million identical examples of the same crap. They're all basically the same. As long as they don't post here, hey, let 'em have their fun. And if they do post here, then I get to have some fun. :D

"..... I can say that I have saw very poor officiating."

They don't pronounce the "r" there.

Wouldn't matter. I worked local HS camps where the camp directors (couple of NCAA tourney vets who work games with Hightower/Burr/Higgins) had to fill in when we were short and the fans said the same stupid sh!t to them when they didn't like their calls.

HAsnt seen any games?

Hasn't seen any games? That's like the fan that can call every foul but yells at ya for no FT's on a charge.

LMAO I had a fanatic sitting next to me the other night at a JUCO game, & my thought was what would the reaction had been if Jurassic, Bob, & Snaq were officiating the game.
