Lets all be honest. EVERY association has "This Guy" maybe not AS flambouyant, but we all have the older offiical who really puts "extra effort" into his game. I know we have one, and the kids and fans love him. I love working with him b/c when he makes a crazy call all I have to say to a coach is "Hey, that's <name>" and they agree and move on.
Wouldn't want to have younger offiicals imitate the mechanics, but would love for them to have that same level of energy and enthusiasm.:D

As we get late in the Rec Season here and I move into the playoff and championship rounds I always look for something to work on! Now, I have several things. Excellent (sarc). ;)

Oh, I loved the video. I couldn't pull that off, but I was certainly laughing at it.

I love it too...of course we don't WANT to be noticed (because it means the game is going well), but if the situation arises, you step up to the plate and take care of business. And sometimes that means you'll get noticed.

The whole premise behind the best games are ones were we aren't noticed is faulty because the best games tend to be the ones were the teams play well...meaning most likely they aren't forcing our hand to call fouls.

We had a guy on our assoc years ago that resembled this guy a bit physically, long, lean and bald, with some, but not near all the theatrics. On probably my first game with him back in 2-man days, after reporting a time out to table, I turned to locate him and throw in spot, only he's on far end of court shooting Kareem style skyhooks at goal! Another occasion he was standing in doors leading to lobby, sharing popcorn with some fan. Great guy, not a bad ref, and kept it fun. Would he survive today's scrutiny? Prob not.

Just tried and got the same message. Whoever posted it must have marked it private after the hits/views started building. Anyone here know how to get around that? Too bad. Guy looks like a real piece of work.

That notice was probably to say it wasn't listed...not that it was private.

And now youtube apparently is at war with google, so I cannot even get onto youtube.

Google has also recently demanded that you link your YouTube account to a Google account.

Looks like they're stepping it up a notch when it comes to tracking what you do on the net.

Probably the doing of that guy in Egypt who didn't get to speak at the rally. The google guy. Not "That Guy".
